Thanks to all who supported the 2004 MICF fundraiser, Turtles Around Town.

Funds > General Fund (Unrestricted Endowment)

Evergreens in SnowThe General Fund (Unrestricted Endowment) was created to meet ongoing or special needs on Mackinac Island. It is an unrestricted fund which allows for flexibility in meeting these needs.

Grants from this fund are varied and include support for programs in areas such as community enrichment, historic preservation, health and wellness, and youth recreation. Examples include English as a Second Language and Summer Workers' Night at Ste. Anne's Church, the archiving of historical documents at the Stewart House Museum and adult enrichment classes and family fun nights during the winter. All undesignated gifts are added to this fund
