Mackinac Island Carriage Tours is owned and operated by the
Chambers family. The company and the family are deeply involved
on Mackinac. In 1998, Mackinac Island Carriage Tours began
the Fund for the Preservation of Horse Tradition and has continued
its support of the fund with annual gifts. Grants from this
fund promote the horse culture on Mackinac. Past grants include
riding scholarships and instructional clinics.
