The Dr. Rex and Elizabeth C.
Orr Fund for the Care of Animals
 Looking
for a way to provide a lasting tribute to their father’s
life work, Debra and Sandra Orr created a field of interest
fund at the Mackinac Island Community Foundation.
The fund, established on the anniversary
of their mother’s birthday and in memory of their parents,
will promote and provide for preventive medical care of animals
on Mackinac Island, including immunizations, for emergency
care of lost and stray animals, and for the general health
and welfare of animals.
